Jacques Arnould was born in 1961. He is Dominican. With a Ph.D. in History of Sciences and Ph. D. in Theology, he is the French Space Agency (CNES) expert in charge of ethical, social and cultural aspect of space activities. His research fields are life and its evolution and space and its conquest. He has written 14 books on the first topic. The Académie Française has awarded him its 2004 La Bruyère Prize (silver medal), in the Literature & Philosophy category, for his book “The Devil’s Whiskers” published by Editions du Cerf in 2003.
